Small Time-of-Use Lighting Logger
The new TOU 3G Lighting Logger is an ultra small, battery powered, portable logger used for lighting energy audits. It has a built-in photocell to monitor lighting and a sensitivity adjustment to eliminate daylighting and ambient lighting. On/Off transition times are recorded and stored in the TOU-3G-L.
The 5 digit LCD shows total on-time and % on time. Use the Lighting Logger to measure total consumption and accumulated running time and provide demand figures by date stamping every transition of on's and off's. The TOU 3G logger has a storage capacity of 8,192 records.
Incredibly small (6.3 x 3.8 x 1.9 cm (2.5 x 1.5 x .75) comes with integrated earth magnets to hold the units in place. Never needs charging, comes with a 5 year built-in battery. The whole unit is covered by a 3 year warranty.
All SMARTloggers use SMARTware software that makes it easy to analyze and visually present monitored data. SMARTware has a variety of pre-programmed analyses and graphs, and can also export the data to popular spreadsheets and databases such as Excel and Access. Some of the pre-programmed graphs include kWh calculations, rate schedule graphs and summaries, load profile graphs, summary statistics and time series analysis. The Good:
Compact Comes with a very easy to use software Very good value for the money
The Bad:
I purchased 3 units. Even with the sensitivity set all the way up one of the devices would not register the same low light level as the other two
The Bottom Line:
Very good product & if lighting is a significant portion of energy cost then this is a must have in your tool kit.
