PlugMiser saves energy on all types of plug loads, such as video arcade games, computer monitors, task lights, radios, copiers, personal printers, space heaters, and more. The equipment will automatically power back up when someone approaches it. PlugMiser’s built in Sensor Repeater allows banks of equipment to be controlled with multiple PlugMisers using only one PIR sensor. PlugMiser can be combined with any other Miser family product.
Electronic arcade games can draw up to 500 Watts, a pair of office task lights typically draw over 70 Watts, and a computer monitor draws between 80 and 240 Watts. Other office equipment will further increase power consumption. Powering this load down when not needed can result in savings of over 0 per year per office.
Additionally, keeping an office\'s electronic equipment powered off unless the office is actually occupied lengthens the expected lifetime of the equipment. Air conditioning load is also reduced, resulting in further savings.
